Fast On Paper — Privacy
Last updated: August 2026
Fast On Paper is a pen-and-paper racing game. It has no accounts, no ads, and no tracking. Here is everything it stores, in plain words.
What the game keeps
- An anonymous player id — a random identifier created on your device. It lets your races follow you (rejoining a race, turn notifications) without any account. It is not linked to your name, email, or anything else about you.
- Your driver name and car style — whatever you type and pick in the garage, shown to the people you race with.
- Race records — lobbies, moves, and results, stored so online games work across devices and so we can see how tracks are played. Practice runs are recorded the same way, with the driver name you chose.
- A push token (iOS app only, only if you say yes to notifications) — used solely to tap you on the shoulder when it is your move or your race starts. Saying no changes nothing else.
What the game does NOT do
- No accounts, emails, passwords, or personal details.
- No advertising, no analytics SDKs, no tracking across apps or sites, no selling or sharing of data with anyone.
- No access to your contacts, photos, location, or anything else on your device.
Where it lives
Game data is stored with our backend provider Supabase on servers in the EU. Local preferences (your car, night mode, best times) stay on your device.
Removing your data
Deleting the app (or clearing the site's browser data) discards your anonymous id — nothing left on your device points at the race records, which keep only the driver name you chose. Want stored races gone too? Email us and we will delete them.
